How much do sessions cost?

Individual sessions cost £50 per 60 minute (1 hour) session. We offer concessions for certain circumstances.

How do I pay for my session?

Payment for your session is due 24 hours before via bank transfer.

How do I cancel/change my appointment?

Don't worry! You can email your therapist to let them know, if you have their work number you can message them on WhatsApp or by text. Alternatively, you can leave them a voicemail. Please give as much notice as you can, we know that sometimes life happens and it's beyond your control.

Cancellations within 24 hours of your session will not receive a refund and are to be paid in full.

How do you handle my personal data?

We ask you to provide some personal information in your therapy agreement (e.g. home address, GP practice, contact information and an emergency contact). This is kept in line with UK GDPR, Data Protection Act (2018) and The Data (Use and Access) Act (2026), it is retained for 7 years upon which it is destroyed. We request this information so you can be contacted about your sessions but also mainly for safeguarding purposes. All clinical notes and personal data is stored electronically and we do not use AI in our practice.

Can I contact you outside of our sessions?

Yes within reason. If you need to contact us about your upcoming session or you have a query, this is permitted. We do try to respond within 24 hours, however sometimes this isn't possible and we appreciate your patience while we get back to you.

Is your office accessible?

If you have a disability or struggle with your mobility for whatever reason, our office is based on the ground floor, outside our main entrance there is a drop kerb and multiple disabled parking bays. If you would like someone to meet you at the main entrance or if there's any other way in which we can support you, please get in touch.

Why are you called Reservoir Therapy?

We chose the name Reservoir for multiple reasons, one of the biggest being that we view water as healing. Reservoirs are man made but they provide a significant reserve when we need them. We believe this is similar to human beings, we are made up of many emotions and beliefs beneath the surface, all made by our own experiences or the views of others. When we struggle, it feels like there is no reserve for us to pull from, we want to be that for those who need it.
